Update: Suspension of Standard Shipping to the US
We're temporarily suspending our Standard Shipping service to the United States, effective immediately, due to recent clearance issues and regulatory changes affecting parcel deliveries.
Over the past few weeks, we've seen a rise in parcels being returned from the US without clear reasons. These challenges appear linked to evolving customs processes, and continuing the service would risk delays and undelivered parcels for your customers.
While we've worked to keep this service affordable, each failed delivery adds cost — from return fees to reshipping and resolution efforts. More importantly, it puts your customer experience at risk.
Your US Shipping Options Going Forward
You can still ship to the US through two reliable options we offer:
- Postal (up to 2kg): An affordable service with end-to-end tracking.
- Express (no weight limit): A premium service with delivery in 2 to 5 days.
We’ve also made a few behind-the-scenes improvements to help Postal shipments move out just a little faster. If you’ve experienced delays with this option in the past, you may notice it running more in line with our expected timeframe now — and we’re continuing to fine-tune things.
If US customs is tightening, why are these services still available? The key difference is how issues impact shipments. With Standard Shipping, multiple parcels are grouped together. If one shipment gets flagged, all included parcels can be delayed or returned. In contrast, our Postal and Express services handle parcels individually, which reduces the risk of widespread disruption.
What’s Next
We’re already testing alternative partners and routing methods to bring back Standard Shipping with greater reliability. Once we're confident it meets our standards, we’ll reopen the service and let you know right away.
Thank you for your understanding. As always, we appreciate you shipping with JustShip.
